Here is how the evening goes in The House of Makeba:
The Arrival
First impressions are set at the door, long before the menu arrives. We keep this part simple. Our valet handles parking so your guests don't circle the block in their festive best, and easy parking is also available next to the restaurant.
We are located on the Ground and First Floor of Arun Complex in Alkapuri, close to CH Jewellers and the old HDFC Bank. For clients travelling from out of town, we sit near well-known stays like Welcome Hotel by ITC and Hotel Express Residency, making us easy to find.
The First Sip
Before the food comes the welcome drink, and this is where we like to surprise people. Our mocktails feature fresh herbs, fruit infusions, and a little flair. They give the whole table something to talk about in the first five minutes and offer a refreshing, inclusive alternative for a festive toast.
If your team prefers something warmer, our specialty coffee menu rounds off the night.
The Table
Every corporate group brings together different personalities and preferences, from colleagues craving familiar favourites to clients keen to explore new flavours and senior leaders who appreciate a quieter setting. Our flexible seating and mood lighting let a gathering feel personal rather than crowded, whether you are hosting a close team or a larger festive group.
We would suggest sharing your guest count with us when you enquire, so we can help you plan the seating.
The Plate
This is the part we are proudest of. Everything we serve is 100% vegetarian, and it travels the world: Roasted Pumpkin and Hazelnut Soup, Asian Veg Gyoza, Shahi Paneer Kofta in Silk Gravy, and Peri Peri Kofta Curry. For dessert, Rasmalai Tiramisu finishes the meal with a festive feel and a hint of modern in the same bite.
It is pure veg fine dining that dares to be different, which is exactly what a celebration deserves.
Our menu also carries seasonal specials and traditional sweets, so the Diwali spirit has a place on the table. To see how vegetarian fine dining is taking off across the city, you can explore Why Vegetarian Fine Dining Is Rapidly Growing in Vadodara.
The Toast and the Goodbye
By the end of the night, the best compliment a venue can receive is that no one wants to leave. We are open from 12:00 PM to 11:30 PM, so your evening can unfold at its own pace, without watching the clock.
